Alaska, the Last Frontier - Summer 2012 |
|

We were still working folk when we took an RV to Alaska in 1989. It was a wonderful trip and we vowed to come back when we had more time to linger. The spectacular scenery, eccentric residents, and profusion of animal life made Alaska a unique destination. We are fortunate to share this adventure with fellow motor homers Geoff & Ellyn and will try to drive every paved road in the state and see it all. The trip to Dawson Creek and mile 0 of the AlCan Highway will take us 2,000 miles from home. Most likely we will drive close to 12,000 over the next five months. We'll come home when we're finished seeing it all or when the snow starts to fly - which ever happens first.
