Where the hell is Dan??

Where the hell is Dan? Who is Dan again? Oh, that's right.
He used to have a job (or two) and a little money but now he is travelling the world with no job and less and less money. I am writing this journal so I can remember where I've been and what I've done (or to whitewash over the things I want to forget). This journal is to let those who aren't with me and still remember who I am, plus those who met me during my travels, follow my progress. If you want, read the entries I make. I plan to make at least one entry for each country, dated on the date I arrived. I hope the entries aren't to dry or long winded, it all seemed interesting to me at the time. At the least it should be fun to see my slow mental deteriation and loss of command of written English over the course of the year.
