We moved over to Oak Hill today. It was a pretty drive along US 219 which is a featured motorcycle tour rout. Needless to say Winnie got a workout climbing the hills out of the river valleys. It might be nice to return in a car. Even I64 when we got on it for the last 15 or 20 miles had some steep grades. The campground, River Expeditions, is about a half-mile from the New River Gorge Bridge. Hope to get some pictures tomorrow. Jan 16, 2012 - Fayetteville, WV

Rolling hills of West Virginia were a tough ride pulling a travel trailer. Roads not well kept. Didn't even unhook my trailer - only stayed the night. Cold night and little snow on ground. I am trying to get away from the cold of PA Stayed at New River Gorgr Gateway RV park in Fayetteville, WV near Oak Hill just overnight. I was staying there with 3 other RVs- all occupied by men. I had the womens room to myself and glad I had Ace as watchdog and protector.
