Jun 24, 2017 - New Milford, PA.

We are in the hills of Pennsylvania. The campground we are at had to have been something in its day. It is on a lake, has stages, large playgrounds, large cabanas and a gathering/recreation hall that would seat 300 people. They have there own Fire Truck. Today is looking closer to run down, with mostly oil workers living there for the summer. This is a halfway stop on our way to Trenton, NJ. Why Trenton you ask? It is less than 50 miles from the Philadelphia airport and another state for Ava. She flies home on Thursday.

May 12, 2008 - PA, New Milford Flying J Truck Stop

Was in rain all day from Gettysburg, PA. It was so cold and rainey that I skipped Gettysburg as I had seen it before. Just trying to get out of the rain. Stopped at my favorite place Flying J. It is free. I don't need anything at night but power if I need to see TV. Can't beat the price. Had coffee, took shower, cooked me some oatmeal and did my personal business all in parking lot of Flying J, did I say it is "Free", what a deal.
