Jun 17, 2020 - On the road again

After a very good visit with family and friends in Indiana and Ohio, it was time to head to NY. I actually played games of pickleball in Madison and Versailles with Dolores and didn’t do a lot of work! I wouldn’t have minded if there was a work project to do with Dolores, though. So, I stayed at a rest area on the western side of Pennsylvania because I knew that I couldn’t park in the Walmart in Carlisle – the midway point to NY. Let’s just say I can cross that off my bucket list and don’t need to do that again!

Jun 25, 2008 - Oil Region, PA

Since we are in the Oil Region of PA, we decided to take the bike and head to Franklin, Oil City, and Titusville. In Titusville we went to the Oil City and Titusville Railroad Museum. We were looking forward to the 2.5 hour ride on an old train through the valley and Oil Creek State Park; however, once we arrived at the museum we discovered it is only open on Saturdays and Sundays. The saving grace of the trip was that the station/museum has the same parking lot as the Caboose Motel. The motel consists of 21 railroad cars (some cabooses);...

Sep 24, 2007 - Kozy Rest Campground, Harrisville, PA

Hi Everybody, Ok this is going to be short and sweet. We drove until almost 9PM last night and are completely exhausted and basically have done nothing but veg all day. We did try to get together with Tim's nephews John and Donnie but it just didn't work out, maybe we'll be able to see them the next time around. The only thing I did all day was write in this silly thing to get caught up and I made it, YEA!!! Love to you ALL, Tim & Marilyn
