We took a day trip to Andover, Ohio and on to the Pennsylvania border. They were predicting rain so the flea market in Andover was a little scarce. We did manage to buy some candy and snacks. Andover is Amish country. Ava had her first experience of seeing the horse and buggies. It took a lot of explaining but she got to understand a different way of life. We drove to Pymatuning State Park in Pennsylvania. It's over 21,000 acres of a man made reservoir. At one time it was a very large swamp. The fish are so plentiful the ducks can walk over...

We wanted to visit a few place that Norma had visit with her mother and dad when they would sight see in the area. Norma had told me about the ducks and feeding the fish. So this would one of the state parks that we would camp and walk the trails. I had made reservations at a few of the state parks in In, OH, PA because it was summer time and the kids would be on vacation with mom & dad . May 19, 2008 - Across Ohio

Dolores and I left Versailles, IN about 9 AM on our trek east and we were both excited. I drove 50 East to 275 thinking it would be a breeze because of the time. We almost made it to 71 but there was an accident that tied up traffic for a long time. Dolores got up to go to the bathroom and was thrilled that she was able to do so. Then I had her take the wheel and inch along while I relieved myself. This was a revelation for both of us, as I never had anyone to drive for any length of time and we both never moved around in a moving vehicle...
