We camped a couple of nights in the Finger Lakes region of New York state. New York state is surprisingly very beautiful. The finger lakes were carved out by glaciers during the ice age and there are some spectacular waterfalls. We then headed west to Letchworth State Park which is known as the Grand Canyon of the east. It sure was a beautiful canyon with three great waterfalls. We saw some Turkey Vultures close up that were resting on a rocky ledge below us.
