Jul 24, 2013 - We Can See The Light at the End of the Tunnel!
We're freezing. Cloudy and 57 degrees upon getting up! Fond memories travel this part of I81. We are now passing the through Syracuse and waving to our daughter and family! See you soon! Approximately 60 miles down the road we are now passing near where our horse farm was. Country Manor Equestrian Center where we raised Morgan and Arabian Horses for many years. About thirty miles further we see good ole Fort Drum where Dave worked for many years. All is well...just chilly!Jump to full entry
Jun 13, 2010 - Making a Run for the Border (and Cooler Temps)
ERIE, PA: Mom has told me that Granddad Brady lived on Cherry Road in Erie, so we are pleased at least to pass by “Cherry Road Extended” as we travel the Interstate, not wanting to try the local roads with the RV and car in tow. We stop in the pleasant Family Campground near Erie where we are able to have a nice walk and exchange a couple of books.
