Sep 23, 2010 - Tires on Motorhome

Today we said our goodbye to our new family the "Escapees VCR". We had a great time. We decided it was time to replace ALL the tires on the motorhome so they have all the same tires. After our adventure in Alaska we had two different types of tires. Can't always get the tires you want in Alaska you get what they have. Now we have all new wheels. After having the stem replaced on our left inside dual tire we hit the road for our trek to New Mexico to the Balloon Fisteva. We got as far as Clinton, IL and stayed the night in Walmart.

We left St. Charles this morning and headed to Springfield, IL. The Abraham Lincoln presidential museum and library is located here. We arrived around noon and it was pouring down rain! Great day for a museum. Especially this one! This was the most interactive and technology-oriented museum I have ever been to. We all loved it. It was great for the kids and held their interest the whole time. Apparently Disney was involved in part of the designing of this museum.
