So peaceful!! Last night as we made plans for the day's ride, we saw that the Cave In Rock State Park was located right where we catch the ferry to cross the Ohio River into Kentucky. We both thought what a nice way to spend a day in the area and see some of the sights. There was rain in the forecast for this evening, so it seemed like a doubly smart thing to do! Nov 17, 2012 - Day 6 - Cave-In Rock State Park, Cave-In Rock, Illinous

We arrived in Cave-In Rock this morning crossing over into a different time-zone. The town has only 350 residents. There is almost nothing there! We found Cave-In Rock State Park but our cabin wasn't ready and it was really too early for lunch so we drove to what we thought would be a bigger town, Elizabethtown, for lunch. Elizabethtown also has only 350 residents. There were 2 Schwann trucks parked downtown taking orders and a steady stream of residents picking up orders as there is no grocery store in either town!
