Apr 2, 2016 - We've arrived at Reed Bingham

We left Tifton the day after a deluge and had to be dead-headed in both locations thanks to soggy ground. We'll receive our workamping orientation on Monday. The plan is to work 9am-3pm Tuesday through Thursday. Hopefully our 2 month stay will go smoothly!

Our Wanderings

Jan 7, 2013 - Heading back to Greenville area

In the morning we leave for Taylor's and the campground, about 700 miles and we break it up by an overnight at Reed Bingham SP, Adel, GA. Very large, newly modernized park complete with a weed wacker like the 1 on Cayuga Lake for harvesting weeds on their small lake.

Mar 9, 2010 - Tifton, GA

We had planned to go to Asheville, NC but the weather was just to cold to go north. We decided to go to central Florida instead. Tim had shown us an alternate path out of the airport – down part of the runway and across the ditch. It worked out much better, less scary. The state park was almost empty, they didn’t bother to assign a site, just told us to pick one. We took space 25 in loop 2. It was a short walk to the laundry, which I took advantage of. It was a pretty park with lots of hiking trails. Wed, Mar 10 – I finished up laundry...
