May 16, 2014 - Magnolia Springs State Park

SPENT 3 DAYS AT THIS PARK. A BEAUTIFUL PARK. LOTS OF MAGNOLIA TREES THAT HADNT BLOOMED OUT YET. ENJOYED FEEDING THE TURTLES BUT THEY WERENT CRAZY ABOUT THE BREAD. THE LAST EVENING WE FINALLY SEEN ALLIGATORS. A BIG ONE AND 2 BABIES. WE LEFT A DAY EARLY TO GO TO ANDERSONVILLE GA TO GO SEE THE POW CAMP AND CEMETARY. WILL POST THOSE LATER AS I'M TOO TIRED.

May 22, 2010 - Magnolia Springs State Park

We had a great time running around Plains,Georgia and some other the other small town in the area for Geocaching. We got to see covered bridges, small creeks and farms with old oak trees along the creek bank. We got to see the kids swinging on a rope out into the water and the people enjoying the good old summer time in Georgia. This state park has the second largest prison during the civil war between the U.S., the prison in Andersonville was so bad that some of the prisoners were moved to Millen,Georgia. Jun 6, 2009 - Week One ......from springs to magnolias

So after hours and hours of downsizing, selecting, pondering, worrying, wondering, "do you think"ing, "what if we"ing, measuring, weighing, loading, trying.....and after hundreds of good-bye parties and well wishes, we finally got tired of getting ready to get ready, finished loading up, and BEAT FEET out of town June 1st, lunch time.
