May 27, 2017 - Day 1 (Saturday)

It's now 3 PM in England and I am STILL in Lawrenceville. Didn't sleep well. As the little boy in the Disneyland commercial said "I'm TOO excited to sleep!!!" My English neighbor just rang to let me know that British Airways, on which I will be flying to London, has a major computer glitch and outgoing flights are being delayed. It's too early to find out about my flight, which doesn't leave BWI til 9:30 tonight. Janet S - I may spend longer than anticipated in Baltimore! But all is well. I'd rather it be the airlines that are late than me!!!

May 26, 2017 - Day 0 (Friday)

It's 3:20 AM, May 27, in England but I'm still at home setting up this travel journal. Had a lovely lunch with Co-op Wednesday Pantry folks to celebrate a birthday among us. Food was good but the company was what made the meal! I'm pretty sure I'll have a place or two to do some laundry, so leaving out some clothes will not impact my fellow travelers on the bus...

Oct 12, 2013 - Day 2: Saturday, Oct 12

Up back roads from Valdosta - along the 100 mile peanut picker yard sale. Bike ride on the Silver Comet Trail - very nice. Hampton Inn Sugarloaf - really nice. Shopping at Goodwill, dinner and Jim & Nick's - great (computers down). Ice cream at DQ in Thomaston, GA. Beautiful weather.

Fall Roadtrip - 2014

Mar 16, 2010 - Last Atlanta Trip

Today we travelled to Lawrenceville to hang out with Rae's grandmother, aunt, mother, and nephews. We loved the opportunity to hang out with Obie & Eli taking them to teeball practice and goofing off. Tomorrow we will have lunch with my mother on the way back to Columbia. We were blessed to visit all of our family over the last couple of months.
