Today was blissfully quiet and uneventful. I-10 in Florida has the nicest rest areas, which saved us a lot of time. In most states, there are few or no rest areas, and we have to pull off into a town and hope that we can find some place with enough room for us to park. Sometimes it gets hairy. Having state-run rest areas with plenty of room for motorhomes and easy on/off access is great. Even the overpasses are nice. Many of them are painted turquise.
