We are coming back home to Virginia. The most difficult part of our trip has been the ability to connect my laptop to the internet. I use my laptop to write this blog and manage my pictures. We traveled the Northeast last year and did not encounter much difficulty connecting to a wifi. This trip around the Gulf of Mexico has proven that we need a hot-spot. Aug 11, 2011 - Over the River and through the Woods

Aug 11 Today was a driving day and I decided to take my courage in hand and take the RV over the secondary roads across Georgia. Yep, over the river and through the woods again, but this time with the rig!!!. I may have cured myself of my fear of hills. I hope so…I am tired of being afraid to take the rig off road. Oct 17, 2010 - Swimming against the tide

It alwways seems like I swimming against the tide this time of the year. I dring north on US1, US23 and US129 through central Georgia and all of the other RV's are headed south. I must have passed 50 motor homes and trailers heading for Florida. Oh well, one of these days I'll be heading south for the winter. I can't believe how good the highways are in Georgia and how empty they are in some areas. The stretch of US 23 between Alma, GA and I16 at Macon, it seemed like I was the only one on the road.
