Aug 16, 2014 - We made it to our first stop

We finally left on the first leg of our trip. We woke up this morning and made about 100 trips (yeah, I am exaggerating, but it felt like it) down the 4 porch steps and up the 4 RV steps loading clothes, supplies, food, etc. After making a stop at the store on our way out of town, we headed down the road about 3:15. Oct 10, 2012 - Oak Hills, CA, Closest we could get to LA, October 9-?

Los Angeles, or Oak Hills, the High Desert October 9-17 We took off for our long awaited trip to the Los Angeles area on the 9th of October. However, our destination was a place called Oak Hills, CA, close to 60 miles away from downtown LA. Not many campgrounds except along the beach and would have meant taking the RV into one of the major metro areas in the country.
