We got a reasonably early start yesterday. We were on the road by 9:30, which is good for us. We drove to Eloy where we got fuel. It is about 57 miles from the RV campground, and it was already getting hot. It was so hot and dry (16%), that I could not wet down the entire windshield and squeegee if off fast enough. Instead, I had to do one column at a time before it dried. Roads were very rough in spots but, happily, we have no new-found screws, fasteners, or unidentified motor home hardware to wonder about. No blog last night as we arrived home about 3:30 and went about the business of dumping tanks, cleaning sinks, toilet, shower – the list goes on. The yard had lots of new growth – mostly weeds as far as we can tell. There is a small mound of mail below the mail slot that will take some time to sort. The Jeep is a mess from being towed. It’s like constant tailgating and every rock, pebble, and speck of dirt the motor home kicked up landed on it. Jan 25, 2015 - San Dimas, CA January 10 - 17

On Saturday January 10 we packed up and drove the 50 miles to East Shore RV Park in San Dimas, This is a regional park. Again a large part of the park is taken up with permanent residents, but it is very clean and well kept. the area where we were was all short timers. the view was great, the San Bernardino mountains and a small airport. the spaces were large and we had a huge amount of grass between spaces. and it was very quiet, as opposed to Valencia which was right on highway 126.
