We had changed base to just north of Tenby in Pembrokeshire for the next two weeks. Sunday had been wet and miserable and it did not clear until Monday lunch time. With the skies starting to clear we headed to Carew a few miles away from the campground to walk a two mile trail around the village and the castle. This pretty riverside village is famed for its 13ft Celtic cross and also it’s almost whimsical castle overlooking the river.
