Aug 15, 2015 - Llangollen, Caernarfon and Dinner in a Welsh Home

Day 6: August 15th - Llangollen & Caernarfon After an EARLY breakfast, where I noticed a packet of Marmite in the jellies (think Vegemite, if you know the Australian condiment – ugh!). I had slept like a rock, although housekeeping did not drop off the flat sheets we requested. Also two differences in hotels here and back home: no clocks! no wash cloths! Jul 3, 2011 - Southport / Manchester / Caernarfon

Off to Liverpool airport to pick up our hire car.......this time getting screwed, not happy Jan! It was time to say goodbye to Nana and hit the road heading to Manchester. A short stop and look around in Manchester and we were off again heading to Caernarfon, Wales. Missing an exit off the freeway we take a detour, finding ourselves at Grappenhall, a lovely place to stop for lunch. We continue our drive through Chester, along the Welsh coast road, finally making it to Caernarfon at 5.30-6ish, and without any accommodation booked as the...
