23rd October On the last entry we were in Arras although I was so tired I didn’t say anything about it!! We left the Donkey Farm on a very cold frosty morning, and we determined that we would get to Arras – about 60miles on the map – not too bad and we had been told about the route by Stephan the farmer.( He took a picture of us as we left and said it would be on his facebook site along with pics of the very cute baby donkey). May 3, 2008 - Whitstable - 2nd stop

We met a couple at lunch that recommended we go to the port town of Whitstable. We were going to hit one more town after the Cathedral so that cinched it. It is still a working fishing port mainly known for their oysters although we didn't see any shucking. We walked through town to get to the beach and were amazed at how far the tide was out! The beaches are really rocky... I know gas prices are on the minds of Americans right now so listen up. Gas is TEN DOLLARS a gallon here!!!
