Today we headed to the south coast of Cornwall and St Anthony Head near St Mawes on the tip of the Roseland Peninsula. The head is at the mouth of the waterway that is Falmouth harbour and the Carrick Roads a waterway created after the Ice Age when an ancient valley flooded when melted caused the sea level to rise dramatically. This created the world’s third largest natural harbour and a navigable route from Falmouth to Truro.
