Today we were up and eating breaky by 8.00am - we are back on the coach at 9.00am for our trip to the Isle of Anglesey. We travel through Conwy which is a gorgeous little place with a massive castle. Here we go through the tunnel under the Menai Strait which feels a bit odd. Then a gorgeous drive round the bay to Beaumaris. We had 1 hour here - took some great pics of the castle and went for a walk along the foreshore before having a coffee in a lovely little cafe. Jun 23, 2015 - Further exploring the Anglesey coast

Today we headed south along the coast from Moelfre. Our first stop was Red Warf Bay, a huge bay with a large expanse of sand which at high tide gets totally covered. It was difficult to imagine that in the late 19th century this was a busy port with large sailing ships that ferried coal, minerals, limestone and lime from the many local lime kilns as well as carrying passengers.
