May 16, 2016 - Bring it on!!!

May 15-16 Lari and Gayle arrived on schedule and after a day of exploring Bath with them we were all happy to enjoy a great meal and a glass of wine together in our b&b. We organized our packs for the Cotswold Way trail and dropped the excess at a storage place for the next 3 days. We were up early and after a good brecky headed in bright sunshine for the trail. Sep 7, 2009 - The Most Important Day or The Major’s Rest

It was a toss up what to name this journal entry because of two quite different experiences so, unable to make a decision (sounds far too much like work when on holiday) I decided on a combination of both titles. When we escaped the pub, heterosexuality intact, the night sky was clear and lustrous but whilst we slept cloud came in and so we stepped out into morning drizzle for our penultimate stage of our walk; it was to prove a tiring but very rewarding 25 km, with our bodies letting us know their age as we wound our way towards Tomarton....
