Friday I was assigned to Bua and June again, but I was so tired that I pretty much stumbled through the morning. Before breakfast we had to make and feed the banana balls to June, cut the trees and give them to the two elephants, and clean the dead leaves and poo from the enclosure. Then it was breakfast time, during which I took a short nap before going back to work. At nine we had to go to harvest. First of all, I’m sorry I’ve been so bad at posting my blog. I’ve been so busy here and when I’m not working there are so many people to get to know that I’ve barely had a chance to look at my computer, let alone type up a blog on it. Dec 18, 2008 - Incredibly another day another different beach - Cha-am
With the arrival of Kevin and Ping from Australia the day before, Cha-am beach was chosen for the reunion of six girls all from the same village in Buriram and all connected to Lazy Daze. Kevin and Ping had arranged the food for the day for which many thanks go from me. I've begun to get used to the amount of food that gets brought out on these occasions but this seemed exceptional with fish, fried rice, pork, chicken, squid and various salad plates.
