After having a really fun day yesterday we had planned on continuing the fun at the local swimming spot in Saltarö, a community not far from Kopparmora. Unfortunately I woke up at 6 am by the sound of Eric being sick. The poor little guy didn't make it to the bathroom in time and vomited all over the floor. So the greater part of the day was spent with him on the couch while Patric and Julia played outside. Late in the afternoon Eric was feeling well enough for me to leave him for a while and The other kiddos and I went for a short swim....

Jun 21, 2013 - Our vacation starts with Swedish midsummer

Our first real day of our summer vacation started with the Swedish holiday of midsummer. We were lucky that the weather was nice and sunny since the whole celebration is held outside. We spent the holiday in Kopparmora. Kopparmora is a little community in Stockholm's archipelago. The area offers both forestry and wonderful spots for swimming and other water activities.
