Jun 22, 2011 - Hop on Hop of Ferry Tour Stockholm

Well after a long night things were looking up today.Had good breakfast packed up our luggage and stored it away.We had about 4 hours to see as much as we could.With my crook hip it was a slow walk but got to the hop on hop off ferry.First port of call was the old city with the royal palace part of it.Cobblestone roads made it hard work for me but battled on.We wandered around for awhile till we found a Irish pub with wi-fi.Had a Guinness as you would and caught up with some texting and facebook.Back to the ferry to get to the Varsa...

Jun 21, 2011 - Gamla Stan Old Town, Stockholm, Sweden

As always, the three things you talk most about on holiday are how you slept, how your health is (you know what I mean!) and the weather... Well, I finally had a good nights sleep, felt hungry as a horse and the sun was shining. so it looked like a good day ahead. You may be a bit confused as to why I mention these things, well there is part of the adventure I am omitting, I'll leave that until I return home so we have something to talk about! Suffice to say, it looked like a good day was to be had :) Today we arose to look out our porthole...

Jun 17, 2011 - Jumbo Stay, Stockholm, Sweden

Well this was unique to say the least.Huge Jumbo fitted out with quite small but well made units inside the plane.Bunk beds in small room but adequate.We couldnt afford the pilots cabin but it was fantastic.Got some great photos .Nice showers and toilets again on the small side.After good nights sleep Beijing seemed a distant memory.Breakfast was a very nice effort.The breakfast room was situated in the nose of the plane directly below the captains cabin.Plenty to eat and endless coffee and Hot Chocolate.Checked out around 9.00 am ,caught...
