We arrived in the Antipodes Island in the morning on the leeward side of the island, after a fitful sleep. The Antipodes Islands group is the most isolated and least known of New Zealand's Sub-antarctic Islands. Antipodes Island is the largest of the group. It was a calm and sunny day, although chilly. Since landing on the island is not permitted, we took a Zodiac cruise around the shoreline of the island.
