Hope this entry finds you all well...I know it's been a while since we've added to the website, so now it's catch up time... Oliver and I spent 4 days and 3 nights in Kuala Lumpur (KL) while our friends Chris and Sheila finished their stay in Bali (our 30 day visa expired). KL's airport and city architecture were amazing to say the least. We stayed in a hostel in the center of town and were able to get some much needed "supplies" such as toiletries, etc, that couldn't be found in Indonesia. Mar 30, 2004 - Return to kuala lumpur

Hello all: We are exhausted and need a holiday from our holiday. As mentioned in an earlier e-mail, we are no longer staying in residential areas, we are now in full tourist mode. We have been at this for a month and are very tired. So...we are now in a very comfortable (expensive) hotel with little thought to actually going outside. We ensured that we had a hotel with 24- hour kids TV and we have a computer here in the room. Between these two electronic babysitters and the swimming pool we should all be able to relax. Dec 17, 2003 - Kuala Kangsar to Kuala Lumpur

Before heading to Kuala Lumpur Aziz and Asiah showed us around Kuala Kangsar. This town is the Capital of the Perak province. We were shown the Royal Mosque, Palace and museum before having a look around the town centre. The trip to Kuala Lumpur was by bus. As you are arriving you can see the Petronas Towers from miles away. On the way in we stopped at the complex where the Commonwealth Games were held in 1998 and saw the tennis and hockey stadiums.
