Hey Yall... We arrived here yesterday and stayed at The Lake House in Cameron Highlands. The mock English Tudor style lodging situated high up on the jungle hill overlooking the river. We were able to get the room with prime view of the jungle and the river. It was so isolated as there was nothing else around for perhaps several miles. It was beautiful and serene and the timing was just right as we have been "on the go" seeing as much as we could the past few days. This ias a great place just to decompose and read a good novel. Dec 15, 2003 - Leaving Penang

Our short stay in Penang ended this morning. We woke up and headed off to what we believed was the Chinese mansion. Upon our return we found out that we hadn't been to the mansion but had actually been to the oldest, most extravagant Buddhist temple in Malaysia. Because no one at the temple spoke English we didn't realise our mistake. The temple was good though. In the afternoon we set off for Kuala Kangsar.
