SUNDAY 10th FEBRUARY Having spent almost a week in Hoi-an now, we were beginning to find ourselves walking around in circles and so we decided to book ourselves on a day trip, for something a bit different and not the same, same! As we are due to fly to Siem Reap on Weds and visit Angkor Wat for a couple of days we thought visiting the hindu temples of ‘My Son’ would be a nice taster for what is to come. That and the fact that it was pretty much all we could book, as a lot of trips are still restricted with the ‘Tet’ New Year celebrations...

Jan 26, 2006 - easy riding on the Bolaven plateau

Did you know that Laos produce one of the best coffee in the world ? Well it does, in the bolaven plateau, which unfortunatly is not very practical to visit by public transport....sounds familiar a pitch? So here we go again for a short 2 day trip this time (225km) visiting the impressive Tat fan waterfall (120m with only jungle around) one the way, perfectly situated not far from a good resto with commanding views. We stayed the night in Tat Lo which has more waterfalls, although modest ones. A short elephant ride later we were on our way...
