After quite a long day in Bremen the day before we had a lazy get up and after some grocery shopping (have to keep remembering that supermarkets close on a Sunday) we headed to the small village of Worpswede about 26km north of Bremen. This little village became famous when German impressionist artists Fritz Makerson and Otto Modersohn discovered it in the 1880’s.
