Oct 22, 2014 - A week in the Tarn

Exploring this area has been such fun. Our house is wonderful and we have visited small villages such as Laguepie, Monesties, Cordes-sur-Ciel (a bastide rising above the village), city of Albi and the Toulouse-Lautrec museum and incredible cathedrale of red brick. Najac was particularly awesome - again, another "plus beaux village" and plus beaux (most beautiful) it was. Sitting on a narrow ridge above a bend in the Aveyron River. Oct 21, 2014 - Off to the Tarn

It felt really funny to leave the Dordogne today. Packed up early and got out as we wanted to make a few stops along the way as we head off to the Midi-Pyrenees and our new home for a week (our third home exchange). Our last cave visit took us to Perl Mech, another incredible cave with prehistoric drawings and an unexplainable grandeur. Very impressive.
