Looks like the grey and the drizzle has set in at Bergen so a good time to leave. We catch the 6:15 bus to the airport for our 7:55 flight to Oslo. While checking in at SAS we find that our flight from Oslo to Copenhagen at 12:15 departs from Sandefjord airport. The check-in staff are not sure if there are any bus services but say it should be about 45 minutes by taxi from where we land. Throughout the Baltics, one of the most important celebrations of the year is Jaanipaev or St. John's Day, which falls on June 24th. In Estonia celebrations begin on June 23rd, the evening of the summer solstice, when darkness just barely touches this northern land. People head to the country -- to the forests, the islands, or anywhere else they can feel a part of nature.
