Monday June 9…10:30pm We drove to Taylor Head Provincial Park. It’s a day use area with no overnight camping, although we likely wouldn’t have stayed there anyhow due to the cost. But they do have a nice beach, and a lot of hiking trails. We had read about the trails in the Nova Scotia guide and they said that the one going along the waters edge is one of the best in Nova Scotia. Sep 12, 2007 - Tracadie to Port Dufferin, Nova Scotia

It was sunny and fairly warm when we loaded the bike this morning. What a welcome sight. Your mood changes instantly in the sunshine. The constant grey skies and wet weather can be depressing after a while. I needed to fill a prescription right away since I could not do so in Newfoundland so we headed to the next major town which was Antigonish.
