It was cold and overcast when we left Dartmouth this morning but the forecast was for warming in the afternoon. When we tried to travel through Halifax we found our planned route blocked off. We suspect it was for the Terry Fox run. The guy at the barricade gave us directions to head to Peggy's Cove, which we planned on stopping at. It is touted as the most picturesque spot on the Nova Scotia coast. He said he did not know why we would want to go to Peggy's Cove; it was just a rock and there were a lot of other nice places to go. He also...
