We are on route for Potosi to visit the world's highest and largest silver mines (yes a theme is emerging here!), but in keeping with Bolivia's reputation of social unrest due to its poor economy, drug wars and disfranchisement we are soon caught up in a protest about the price of bus tickets. The narrow mountain road is blocked by women rolling boulders down the hillside.
