One of the places Greg was looking forward to most, the Pampas is a jungly swampland in the Amazon Basin. Life for its many wildlife residents revolves around the Yucama River which flows right through the middle. Our transport for the three day trip was a motorised canoe which sped us up and down the river on wildlife spotting missions. Even on the 3 hour boat journey to our overnight camp on the riverbank, the animals came out to play.
