By midday Tuesday, I've pick everyone up from their hostels, fuelled up the car and we're on the road. First stop is Geelong, where we grab Fish'n'Chips on the water front. Then it's onto the Great Ocean Road proper at Torquay. It was built by returning soldiers after WWI, and was conceived as the worlds largest war memorial. Also it conveniently gave tha blokes something to do, and opened up the area to tourism/development.
