Hi All Well a slight improvement in the weather improved our spirits , except for the wind blowing, and we enjoyed 3 days at Lucinda on the coast from Ingham (not to be confused with chooks) they grow sugar cane there, lots of it, its everywhere and they fish, fisher type peoples everywhere, we were totally out of place in the caravan park as we didn’t have a boat, but they were very friendly. Feb 21, 2004 - Making a splash on the Lass

Having blanked from our memories the innumerable overnight bus journeys we did in South America, we hopped on board the bus in Hervey Bay with a spring in our step and a somewhat upbeat mood. This gradually deteriorated when we spied the group of lads stepping on behind us, straining under the weight of slabs of beer.
