Hi everyone Wow it has been a while since I wrote here. I have gone from living on a boat surrounded by fishies and water to a place where there is no water but there are lots of horses, cows and goats. I am staying at a cattle station called Kroombit which is 35km from Biloela(aboriginal for white cockatoo of which there are thousands of in the area)www.kroombit.com.au I got off the oz experiance bus which stops here and just never got back on. Mar 14, 2008 - Kroombit Cattle Station

I caught the bus at 7.am for an epic drive to Kroombit Cattle station. This time the driver was Joel and sounded a bit like Toady from neighbours. our first stop was for us to play some bare foot lawn bowls - the deadliest sport in the world - as everyone is over 75. Just joking, it's trickier than you think. Another stop on the way was Rockhampton the beef capital of Australia, like something of an American town. Jul 29, 2006 - Hervey Bay to Kroombit Cattle Station

I was back on the bus today, headed towards Kroombit Cattle station near the small town of Biloela. Bileola means "white cockatoo" in one of the Aborigine languages. This is the first part of my trip up the east coast that we actually went inland and it was a nice change. Some people say that the outback isn't exciting but I like it a lot better than beaches.
