Mar 20, 2017 - Darlington Point to Lake Cargelligo

After taking the dogs for a quick walk, we were back on the road by our usual 10am ish. First stop was 5 minutes down the road at the local butcher where I stocked up on some meat (we try to make a point of spending some money in any town which provides a free camp in close proximity to the town). We were driving through Griffith about ½ an hour later. We were quite amazed at how large a fruit growing area there is around Griffith. Jan 25, 2015 - Our week at Lake Conjola 11/1-18/1/2016

This was our week away at lake Conjola for 2016. Weather was "iffy at start of week" but improved towards end with the last day being perfect. We made good use of our wetsuits we got for Christmas though- Dean and Logan being only ones without! The kyak was a hit again and we did manage to fit both girls and two adults on board but next year they may be too big for that many and will have to go one at a time. Sep 13, 2009 - Hay to Lake Cargelligo

I forgot to say that we have this wonderful camping book that tells you all the free and cheap camping spots. When we knew we would get as far as Hay I looked up the book and it said there was cheap camping at the show grounds with electricity and an amenity block so we decided to camp there. When we arrived at Hay we found Show Grounds Rd and wondered why there was so much traffic when we had only seen about 6 cars on the road all day.
