|I've been wanting to try one of these Yorkie Wraps for some time and last night was the night. We went to the nearby Toby Carvery (who are famous for their Yorkshire Puds) and while Tony had a roast dinner I had the Roast Beef Wrap. Yummie.
Another jigsaw finished yesterday.
We took advantage of the fine weather window today and set off just before midday. Through 4 locks (a rise of 24'4"), and we are moored at the Benham Weir, Marsh Benham. (51.39825 -1.38039). Tomorrow is forcast showery but Friday is supposed to be fine again so we'll head a bit further then.
This lovely notice was hanging at the lock in Newbury town.
Lots of daisies on the canal bank here.
