This morning we awoke to bright sunshine and clear skies. It's still a little cool but wonderful. We took a hike down the mountain after taking the cogwheel train up the mountain. It was wonderful! Nicely cool! Quiet! And we had great views as you'll see from the photos.

Then, in the afternoon, we enjoyed some more wonderful scenery. We caught a boat that took us across Lake Lucerne. Wait till you see the beautiful pictures!! Then we got on a gondola that carried us up the steep mountainside to a hotel and spa. And there, we were greeted by a Swiss man playing an Alpine Horn. He was in front of the restaurant where we were going to eat dinner. Inside the restaurant he continued providing music and entertainment with his buddy who was playing Swiss music on his accordion. Our dinner was real Swiss fondue! Wonderful!! Then chicken in a wonderful sauce, mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables; with ice cream for dessert!! Then we took a cogwheel train down the mountain to meet our bus which drove us back to our hotel in town.

Wow! What a day!!

Tomorrow we go to a chocolate factory!
