Shortest Street

We set off yesterday afternoon and made it to Shepperton Lock where we found a mooring for the night.

Some of the locks have very well tended garden beds and hanging baskets, and there are some lovely looking gardens at present.

Today we cruised about 10 miles to Windsor. We are moored with the Castle as a back drop, but we had to moor on the bank and use pins to secure us. There are no mooring bollards or rings and the bailiff still comes around to collect a mooring fee. I think we may have missed the bailiff as we were out for a walk when we saw her walking along the bank. No doubt they'll be back before we leave.

It's a very imposing Castle and seems to cover miles of the city.

The Diamond Jubilee Fountain is lovely.

This is a very slanty building on a very short street. The shortest street in Britain.

The bailiff has just found us and collected £10.!!!!
