Singapore, Malaysia, Korea & Vietnam 2019 travel blog

Upon arriving in Kuala Lumpur on March 6 we were met by the best limousine service a new city can offer, a good friend, Ian Jenkins, who also invited us to stay with him.

We spent a long, late evening looking back and catching up over G&Ts with Ian, who was Duncan’s official Big Brother when he joint the Phi Delta Theta fraternity back in the fall of 1979.

Thus we took March 7th as a lazy day and took advantage of the lovely pool in Ian’s complex, which was especially welcome after hurried, hot and humid days in Singapore. That is not to say that KL wasn’t hot and humid - it was even more so than Singapore! However, in KL there was a raging thundershower around 5 pm each day, which makes for more comfortable early evenings.
