August 15, Wednesday we moved to Cheticamp. It is a short 100K move on a narrow road very much in need of repair.

August 16, Thursday Drove around the north west section of the Cabot Trail along the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Stopped at the Boulangerie Bakery, 1K before park entrance, for a Chocolate Croissant and coffee, then continued on the trail stopping at numerous overlooks. I believe this section of highway may be the most exciting in all of the Maritimes. Stopped for lunch in Pleasant Bay at the Rusty Anchor, we shared Lobster Poutine, french fries, covered in a cheese sauce and lobster claw meat.

August 17, Friday Hiked the Skyline trail today, it is a trail that follows a ridge out to a point with fantastic views of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The trail is 2 miles down hill out to the point and then 2 miles back. We did get to see a moose on the way back to the car. In the evening we went to a local restaurant for dessert with live "Cheticamp" music.
