Julie to the chiropractor at 10:30 then downtown Frankfort where we went first to B’s Bakery to load up on sweets and that we did. Next we met Susan at the Old State Capitol and ate lunch at “Gibby’s”. I had The Grilled Gibby Melt which was a veggie sandwich, Wheat Bread, W/red onions, sautéed mushrooms, Swiss and Parmesan. Was really good!! Next to the KY History Museum where we paid $8pp which included a guided tour of the Old State Capitol, the museum and State Arsenal. After doing all that its now 5pm so we head over to Ciffside for ice cream. One scoop was Ike 3 scoops! Old Taylor Distillary was next and on the way a momma deer and her fawn walked across the road in front of us. At Old Taylor they have been working on it for years and is changing its name to Castle and Key. I was by there about 3 years ago and they were working on it back then. It is not open to the public. Got back to Susan’s at 6pm and we are home for the nite. Don’t know the plan for tomorrow.
