After a couple of days rest at Gargrave we went a bit further, down another 3 locks (no more for a while now)

This boat turned up on Monday with the bloke's head poking out of the top so that he could see where he was going.

This swan thought we had something tasty for it - sadly mistaken.

These noisy cows are in the field opposite where we have tied up for the night. We're just short of Skipton and will head there tomorrow. Hopefully we'll be able to find a spot to moor as there are so many hire boats out at present it's quite congested, and with the canal levels being so low it's difficult to find a decent spot without being aground, which we were when we awoke this morning. The boat was on a distinct lean until someone went through the locks above us and let some water out.
