3 down 4 to go

last lock

white caps

Yesterday was so windy there were whitecaps on the reservoir!!!

We nearly got blown away trying to walk along the path. But we made it into Colne and passed the house where the bandmaster on the Titanic once lived.

Today was long and tiring - we started by filling up with water which took nearly an hour and a half, pressure was dribbly!!

Then we had 7 locks to operate. And we are now going down hill.

So 2 hours later we were at the bottom of the locks

and then made our way to the nearest Morrisons supermarket where they had a mooring jetty for us to tie up while we did the shop. By the time we'd finished the shopping it was nearly 4pm and with only an hour of daylight remaining, we had to get a hurry on to find somewhere safe to stay for the night.

It was just getting dark when we stopped near the Reedly Marina just before Burnley. So a glass of wine and a sit down was first on the list.
