|A late start and a great breakfast then a rest until we check out at midday, for the airport and our flight back to Santiago, which leaves at 2.15. Whilst checking out we chat to a Russian man, living in Germany and working as a software developer, who is also on our flight. We offer to share a cab but he has already called an Uber. We then meet up with him at the airport and we chat in the queue to check in our bags and also whilst waiting to board. He didn't want to share a cab but now we can't get rid of him! The return flight seems much longer but we land at 5.45 and get a taxi home. Once we get home we have to rush to the supermarket as Monday and Tuesday are public holidays here and we are not sure what will be open. Fortunately, the supermarket is still open now and when we ask, they confirm that they are closed for the next two days. Therefore it's a bigger shop than we anticipated but Phil carries the light things and between us we get everything home okay.
